Amir Zakeri, a 23 year old photographer and filmmaker, teamed up with friends Tim Sykes and Mat Abad to create SaveTheReef.org, an organization that draws attention to the bleaching of Coral Reefs. In a documentary uploaded to Youtube, 50 Minutes to Save the World, Amir portrays a world where the reef's have died and you must wear an oxygen mask to go outside. In only 50 minutes you get an accurate portrayal of what our world will look like if nothing changes, as well as the simple steps you can take to prevent the bleaching of coral reefs. 50 right now or oxygen masks later?
