We are currently hiring for:
Personal Assistant to the CEO of SkyFire Arts

*Must be North County San Diego local or close enough to commute
Possibility of working some hours remotely after sufficient training

We are seeking a reliable, long term employee to assist with tasks across all departments. This is a great position for a values driven individual who is interested in gaining experience & growth opportunities. If we’re a fit, you would help with mission fulfillment research, online content creation, project execution & generally supporting the realization of a truly unique vision.

  • Must be North County San Diego local or close enough to commute (*see below)

  • A LOVE for Detail: a true enjoyment of organization, spreadsheets, notes, etc.

  • Solid Communication Skills : Both written and verbal. Friendly, flexible, polite

  • Solution-Oriented: Adaptable and looks for a creative solution as changes arise

  • Multi-Tasker: able to track several projects while focusing on a primary

  • Having your own computer and smartphone (negotiable)

  • Proficient or trainable with: 

    • Paid social media marketing

    • Basic photo/video editing

    • Excel/Spreadsheets

    • Google Drive

    • Instagram

    • Facebook

    • Squarespace

    • Mailchimp

    • Airtable

    • Asana 

About the Position: 
Roles and Responsibilities Include:

  • Responding to emails from vendors and contractors in a timely manner

  • Supporting Creative Director and Production Manager in day to day tasks

  • Planning social media posts and advertisements, with oversight.

  • Occasional Errands including picking up supplies, shipping, etc. 

  • Drafting documents and spreadsheets

  • Booking equipment shipping and crew travel

  • Drafting newsletters, blogs, and updates to website

  • Maintaining Databases and Filing Systems

  • Participate in and support team meetings

  • Developing collaboration proposals

  • Online research

Terms:
Starting pay rate of $15-$20/hour depending on experience

15-20 hours/week according to skill set, Flexible Hours

Increased pay rate and hours with successful trial period

*Possibility of working some hours remotely after sufficient training

Covid Protocols: Depending upon the pandemic situation at time of hire, we will either be meeting outdoors, indoors with masks & distance, or otherwise in a way that is appropriate to whether some or all people present have been vaccinated.

Ideally, we would like someone to become fluent in our services and operations and emerge as a key player in helping the business grow. A person with the right mix of skills and proven performance will naturally be considered for expanded responsibilities and increased compensation.
